In March 2026, a Malibu icon returned. Following a 14-month closure caused by the devastating 2025 Palisades fire and the subsequent mudslides that buried the property in four feet of debris, Duke’s Malibu has officially reopened its doors. I was commissioned to document this legendary "watering hole," capturing the updated, fully repaired facilities and the evolution of their world-famous coastal menu.
