To mark seven years of Michelin-caliber bistro dining in Santa Monica, Pasjoli—the acclaimed French bistro from James Beard Award-winning Chef Dave Beran—hosted an exclusive anniversary weekend (7 Years, 7 Classics).

Presented by DoorDash Reservations, the limited-run event brought back seven iconic dishes from Pasjoli's original opening menu alongside its current seasonal offerings. I was commissioned to capture the energy, nostalgia, and precise French technique of this landmark celebration.

Chef Dave Beran’s menu is rooted in deep French tradition while honoring Southern California seasonality. My goal was to use rich, directional lighting to bring out the gloss and grain of these classic dishes—ensuring every frame felt as celebratory and refined as the 7-year retrospective itself.
